Sandra Fernando Sieminski, MD Ross Eye Institute Buffalo, NY USA | “I have been using the MicroPulse Transscleral Cyclophotocoagulation (MP-TSCPC) procedure with the Cyclo G6 glaucoma laser and the MicroPulse P3 probe in my practice for more than 2 years. MicroPulse mode has proven to be an efficacious choice for many of my glaucoma patients, with significant reduction in pressure and medication use for most. I have found that after MP-TSCPC procedures, my patients experience less pain and less post-procedural inflammation than after traditional CPC.” Jonathan S. Myers, MD Director of the Glaucoma Service Wills Eye Hospital | “Since 2016, I have loved having IRIDEX‘s Cyclo G6 Laser in my surgical toolbox for many types of glaucoma, including those in late stage and refractory stages. I am a big fan because this can often save someone from incisional surgery. Of course, selecting the right patient is key to ensure good outcomes and minimal side effects.” Monisha Vora, MD Glaucoma Specialist Wills Eye Hospital | "At Veterinary Vision we frequently use the diode laser from IRIDEX for treating a variety of conditions including uveal, limbal and eyelid melanomas, and iris cysts. There are many delivery systems available, including the operating microscope adapter (OMA), retinopexy, EndoProbe and transscleral probes, allowing the laser to be delivered in both contact and non contact modes. Diode laser treatment for glaucoma includes transscleral and endo cyclophotocoagulation techniques offering some of the best options available for treating this challenging condition." Cynthia Cook, DVM, PhD, Diplomate ACVO Veterinary Vision, Inc San Carlos and San Francisco, CA USA | "Recent availability of the Cyclo G6 Glaucoma Laser System offers another modality for reducing aqueous production as a treatment for glaucoma. MicroPulse technology has the potential to achieve optimal cyclodestructive effects with much less inflammation and potential for damaging postoperative intraocular pressure spikes. We are fortunate to be among the veterinary centers beginning to accumulate data using this novel technology." Cynthia Cook, DVM, PhD, Diplomate ACVO Veterinary Vision, Inc San Carlos and San Francisco, CA USA | “In a study that I performed with 71 eyes of 68 patients, I found that MicroPulse Transscleral Laser Therapy demonstrated good efficacy and safety profiles with minimal vision-threatening complications in treating a variety of glaucoma types.” Ahmed Al Habash, MD Glaucoma Specialist Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University Saudi Arabia | | “"MicroPulse mode allows me to treat transfoveally, so it can treat conditions that other lasers can't,such as central serous retinopathy (CSR), wet AMD, or pseudophakic CME. I routinely use MicroPulsefor DME and glaucoma as well."” Ahad Mahootchi, MD | | “The G-Probe Illuminate is a great new tool for my complex glaucoma cases! It helps me to deliver targeted cyclophotocoagulation treatment with increased visualization of the ciliary body and surrounding working areas and allows me to treat my patients with precise accuracy to the desired tissue, especially in patients with abnormal anatomy.” Marc Toeteberg-Harms, MD, FEBO | | “The MicroPulse P3 device has become an essential part of my armamentarium for use in glaucoma surgical procedures. It provides a very safe and efficacious solution for IOP control. I have used MicroPulse P3 for some of my most complicated cases but also I feel comfortable enough using it for patients with earlier disease in which we want to avoid a filtering bleb or the placement of hardware in the eye. ” Robert Noecker, MD, MBA | | “The MicroPulse P3 device has given me over 30% IOP lowering. With patients that are non-compliant with their medication, or we are really trying to keep off their medication, the MicroPulse P3 device allows me to treat patients more aggressively.” Steven Vold, MD | | “I have been impressed that the MicroPulse P3 therapy with the CycloG6 can deliver pressure lowering in a broad range of glaucomas, including mild and moderate patients who I want to free from theadverse effects of drops.” Rolando Toyos, MD | | “I have found the MicroPulse P3 to be a non-incisional, easy, andsafe way to reduce pressure anytime my patients need it, and it ispredictable and highly efficacious.” Melissa Toyos, MD |
