REVIEWS
"MicroPulse Laser Trabeculoplasty is versatile in variety of ways: for patients just starting therapy, replacing an eye drop, as an adjunct to an eye drop or to keep them away from incisional surgery."
Nathan Radcliffe, MD
New York Eye Institute, New York, United States
"MLT is both safe and durable. This therapy can be considered a first-line treatment for glaucoma patients, as well as patients who haven’t seen significant effects from medications."
Ike Ahmed, MD, FRCSC
University of Toronto, Canada
"I'm comfortable offering MicroPulse Laser Trabeculoplasty to glaucoma patients as a first-line option because of its potential to reduce intraocular pressure without causing tissue damage. Compared to other lasers used for the treatment of glaucoma, the IQ 532 Laser with the MicroPulse module offers greater versatility because it can also be used for a range of other conditions including diabetic macular edema, proliferative diabetic retinopathy, and retinal tears."
